The Waldorf is probably most famous for its  salad which was first created at the New York Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in 1896 not by a chef but by the maître d'hôtel, (dining room manager).

We had already developed some graphic images for our website, so it seemed an obvious progression to adapt those images for use as wallpapers. Working within existing Four Seasons guidelines two distinct looks were created. Westlake, with its famous freshwater lake is located in the historic centre of Hangzhou, in the Zhejiang provence of Eastern China. A popular haunt since the Qing Dynasty, it was inevitable that sooner or later it would get the 5* treatment.
