Design to a T

Now in its 4th year, the Singapore Grand Prix night race is a spectacular, adrenalin driven event set in the heart of Singapore. Our Creative Director Quentin Berryman had the enviable task of Track Marshall in 2010 and in 2011 he'll be attending the race again as Observer.

This year we also took the opportunity to enter the Race Official's t-shirt competition. Open only to the 2,000+ Race Officials, the brief was simply to develop an eye-catching design that any Race Official would be proud to wear. Here are some of the designs. Unfortunately we could only submit one. As you can imagine it was a tough choice.

Spoilt for choice, a screen grab from the designers desk top!

Submitted final version.

Jewel in the Crown

Following on from our post in December 2010 on the launch of the bespoke jewellery brand Carrie K. More recently we developed her high end brand Veritas by Carrie K. Culminating in its inaugural launch at this years fashion trade show Blueprint 2011 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Veritas encapsulates the essence of the Carrie K. brand, with its distinct handcrafted, limited edition pieces our role was to bring that sense of bespoke, individuality to life in the identity and marketing collateral.

Capturing a Photographers Identity

We recently developed an identity for our photographer friend Pete Seaward Photography.
It's not always easy to produce work for friends, add to that the fact that he was an x-designer in his previous life made for an interesting journey. Thankfully Pete was around during one of his world tours to join us during the design review, which made the whole process so much smoother.

The monogram is based on the infinity symbol found on the SLR lens which was then tweaked to include the initials PSP. A unique use of the symbol and quite different from the normal photographer identities currently out there. The wordmark is based on the classic font Big Caslon.

In a world of email and .pdf, it was refreshing to have the client actively involved in the development process 'live'. Although in reality this process is sometimes fraught with danger!

Here is the final logo along with us work-in-progressing to infinity and beyond:
You can see all the behind the scenes shots on our facebook page.
