Capturing a Photographers Identity

We recently developed an identity for our photographer friend Pete Seaward Photography.
It's not always easy to produce work for friends, add to that the fact that he was an x-designer in his previous life made for an interesting journey. Thankfully Pete was around during one of his world tours to join us during the design review, which made the whole process so much smoother.

The monogram is based on the infinity symbol found on the SLR lens which was then tweaked to include the initials PSP. A unique use of the symbol and quite different from the normal photographer identities currently out there. The wordmark is based on the classic font Big Caslon.


In a world of email and .pdf, it was refreshing to have the client actively involved in the development process 'live'. Although in reality this process is sometimes fraught with danger!
